- Wake up at 9 AM (8 AM since Daylight Saving Time)
- Promise self to write before nine PM
- Get distracted by ultimately pointless yet time-consuming thing *cough cough Creatures Adventures/Docking Station cough cough*
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until 9 PM.
- Remember you have dishes to wash.
- Wash dishes.
- It is now 10 PM.
- Find other distraction.
- It is now 11 PM.
- Write like a madman, updating the word count every 10 words or so.
- It is now 11:59 PM. You're 30 words away from the daily 1,000.
- Panic and say you wrote 30 words anyway.
- It is now midnight.
- Write an additional 100 or so words. Submit.
- You're still stuck at 200 words behind what you should have by now.
- Mentally mourn the fact that you're still going to finish on December 5 at this rate.
- Promise self to write before 9 AM tomorrow. Seriously. Write, woman.
- Repeat.
This blog is where I document the happenings of NaNoWriMo, and occasionally throw in a few short stories or drawings of my book characters.
